The Hansapathin trekking takes the wandering pilgrims to 10,000 feet in the Kumaon ranges of Himalayan Shivalik Mountains. They will celebrate mahāshivarātri on 24th with HH Swami Sanshuddhananda Puri, who meditates in a cave that houses the ancient dhuni (fire mantle) of the revered nath-siddha adept Goraxanath. HH Swami Vidyadhishananda, HH Swami Sharadananda and HH Swami Narasimha Tirtha will accompany the pilgrims. Besides trekking, fellowships on siddha mysticism and sutra meditation methods of monks will be part of this Hansapathin curriculum. A day-long trip to temple clusters of Jageshwar that features the ancient mahāmrityunjaya and Jagehswar jyotirlingam will include rudrādhyāya oblation rituals and chanting by Vedic priest Sri Laxmidatt Bhatt.
